Student Comments Our graduates let us know how they feel about their commercial driver training at our facility and we encourage each student to rate every part of the program including the staff and their personal experience. Following are a few of the letters and comments from CDS graduates: ********************************* Darren F.--Just wanted to thank you and your staff for the opportunity to attend the class. The instructor was excellent and answered a lot of questions and concerns I had. It gave me a different outlook on driving schools. Very professional, and the staff seems to enjoy their job and take pride in what they do. The class moved along with a lot of information and kept my attention. I will refer anyone who is searching for a driving school to CDS. Awesome job! Thank you. To CDS Instructors, Hi Guys!! Sorry I haven't been able to come in. The trucking business has been great. I have had my license since April 24, 2008 when I graduated from CDS and took a load that very day to Alaska. Since then, I have been all over the U.S. and Canada driving trucks, mostly pulling flat beds and step decks. (They are my favorite!) My husband and I have paid off our truck and we now get to stop and sight see in different areas of the U.S. and Canada when the loads are slow in coming. It is the best time of my life! Please tell the instructors that I am extremely grateful for their patience and guidance on the road and the funny attitude in the classroom. Thanks for my new life!--Tammy S. Earl J.--I feel like I made the exact right decision in selecting your school. 100% satisfied and happy to have made new friends. Thanks so much!! Scott L.--I really enjoyed the school staff and new students I met. It was a wonderful experience! The beauty of having different instructors is that you get taught new things from different people! Thoroughly enjoyed my time here. William S.--Classroom: I felt very prepared for the (DOL written) tests. I actually took it a day early and passed with no problem. Field Training: I was very overwhelmed but by the beginning of the third week, I was very confident in my skills. Job Placement: I had a job within the first week! Instructors: Very professional and made the drives entertaining. Curt R. --I just wanted to thank you one more time for the excellent training and good times these past four weeks. The time seemed to go by too quickly. For the record I graduated at 2:30 pm and had a job with Sherman Brothers (my first choice) at 3:30 pm. I would say this is quite a success story. I'll drop a line when I complete training and I am running solo. Again thank you CDS for the professionalism expressed while learning to drive the trucks along with the admissions process. Your job placement is second to none. The Placement Department did an excellent job guiding me through the process. I really appreciate the support network which truly shines brightly throughout your organization. Kelly F.--The manner and environment in which the training was conducted was absolutely top notch and second to none! The professionalism, patience and courtesy that you and your associates rendered throughout the entire course were certainly appreciated and are indicative of a well-managed and successful business. I would not hesitate to recommend your school to anyone looking for professional and meaningful truck driver training. Every time we have had a question or problem, you have done the utmost to assist us and point us in the right direction. I was filled with a lot of apprehension about attending truck driving school. In retrospect, attending CDS was the best decision I have made in years and not just for learning a new profession. I could have attended a lot of different schools, there are many out there. Of all the benefits of choosing you, the one I find the best is that you have never given up on a student. Everyone that comes through your doors and puts forth an effort and wants to work is almost guaranteed to find a job. Brian R.--I would like to thank you and your staff for the excellent care and training your school provided me. The office staff did a great job following up on the needs of the students enrolled with the driving school. The classroom instruction conducted by your staff was top notch and made the introduction to the curriculum required to pass the drivers testing easy to understand. Finally, a special thanks to all the instructors and the training they provided. All employed different methods of instruction, but all seemed to accomplish the task of preparing the students for a career in commercial driving.--Thank you so much for the training you have provided at C.D.S. The teachers have been top notch, from instructors in the classroom, to the field instructors in the trucks. Their patience in dealing with "to the floor" clutching was appreciated.
