FAQs

  1. What are your enrollment requirements?

In order to enroll in one or more of CDS’s CDL training classes, you must be at least 18-years-old, have a valid Washington state driver’s license and social security card, produce proof of your education, pass the Department of Transportation’s (DOT’s) physical and drug screening and provide us with a copy of your 5-year driving abstract record from the Department of Transportation. If you have any questions about these requirements, please don’t hesitate to call us toll-free at 888.338.0030 or 253.983.0200.

  2. Where is CDS located?

Our four convenient Washington-state campuses are located in Port Orchard, Auburn, Lakewood and Olympia.

  3. Will you help me find a job after I’ve completed my CDL training?

Yes, absolutely! Because we partner with many respected local, regional and national companies that come to us when they have job openings, we’re able to provide all of our graduates with ongoing job placement assistance.

  4. I’m considering a CDL but I’m hesitant because I don’t want a job that keeps me on the road for days or weeks at a time. Is this realistic?

Yes, it sure is… We offer job placement assistance for all of our graduates, whether they’re looking for long-haul or local positions. In fact, we’ve helped 92% of our graduates find jobs that fit their needs, preferences and CDL type. So again, this is an entirely realistic and achievable goal.

  5. Do you offer CDL renewal classes?

Yes.  Please call us toll-free at 888.338.0030 or 253.983.0200, and we’ll be happy to provide you with more details on our CDL renewal training.
